Southwest Studies at Colorado College

To learn from the Southwest is to learn from the Global Village

Spanning New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and parts of Colorado, Utah, California, Oklahoma and northern Mexico, the diversity of the Southwest’s cultures and landscapes rival few other regions on the globe. Nearly forty different Native American tribes, indigenous immigrant and Latino groups represent at least fifteen different language groups. Landscapes span from desert to alpine mountain ecologies all teeming with bio-diversity.
