We
are so happy to host you during this exciting, fun-filled
weekend!
You'll
have time to spend with your students (making department
store and grocery store runs)
as
well as attend sporting events, academic seminars and
performances, especially those scheduled in our new Edith
Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center.
If you are an early riser, start your Saturday with a
5:45 a.m. bike ride (mostly downhill with bike and all
gear provided) or a 5K race, starting at 7:45 a.m. Stretch
your mind as well as your body by joining us at the Freedom
and Authority seminar at 8 a.m. This year's discussion
will be based on Michael Frayn's Tony Award Winning Play
"Copenhagen". You may purchase this book at "Copenhagen" .
Cheer on the Tigers at your choice of athletic contests
~ the men's and women's soccer teams compete during Homecoming
weekend as does our Tiger ice hockey team.
We'll
have bonfires, film screenings, concerts, and an all-campus
picnic (complete with a bounce house for our tiny Tigers).
Bring your dancing shoes ~ there are three dance venues
on campus Saturday evening, offering a fun time for all.
for the Parent/Student Dinner on Friday evening with President
Richard F. Celeste and the Farewell Brunch on Sunday morning.
Weather,
and clothing...what can I say? Pack for sunshine, rain
or snow. It's Colorado! And if you forget a sweatshirt,
not to worry. Our campus bookstore is well stocked.
Make your reservations early.! Check Web site for lodging
options in our area.
Looking
forward to welcoming you.
